Great location just off the beaten path, but close to the center of Venice. Great staff service, very helpful in every way.
The hotel staff couldn't do enough for you, breakfast was good and the room was really nice. Perfect location and all round it is a lovely hotel.
The staff was extremely helpful. The room facilities are very good and are providing high level of stay. All-in-all good value for money and good place for comfortable stay in Venice.
The Ruzzini Palace Hotel is absolutely wonderful and the room we had was divine. Although it was very central and only a minute's walk from the major attractions, it was a haven of peace and quiet. I have never had such restful sleep in any hotel let alone one in a major city. The staff are really lovely and extremely helpful, organising outings for us and booking tables at the drop of a hat. If I could make one suggestion it would be that they invest in a decent coffee machine.....Please! Apart from that it's a brilliant place to stay and it really is value for money (which is seriously difficult to achieve in Venice).
We loved the setting and the location. It was fun to lean out of our sixth floor window and observe the happenings in the plaza below. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go. The complimentary shuttle to Murano was a nice touch.
The 140 euros from the airport to the hotel and the 90 euros from the hotel to the ship seemed excessive, but then I guess Venice is an expensive city.
Excellence of services from the hotel staff. Luxury and cleanlyness of the hotel.
Very good location. Direct access to a boat to go to the airport
The room was smaller and darker than I expected
staff were excellent--very engaging and helpful with everything including recommendations for both sightseeing and restaurants. loved the ambience of the renovated palace fronting on a lovely Venetian square and accessible by water taxi. quiet location but only a short walk to Rialto and St. Mark's Square.
only problem we had was with the keyboard of the computer provided for guests--it was almost impossible to use. fortunately the cost was very reasonable but they do need to update the computer equipment.
Very stylish hotel with all facilities and walking distance from Rialto and St Marks
Very helpful and friendly concierge who arranged our gondola, water taxis (from steps of the hotel), flowers and complimentary chilled Prosecco for my wife's birthday. Nice and cool in the hotel after the heat of Venice. Good location, quiet.
Wonderful experience, exceptional staff. They helped us to have a memorable experience in our short stay. They arranged for tickets and made suggestions for Opera, concerts, restaurants, and insisted that we take the romantic boat tour of the city which they organised for us; they included a complimentory bottle of champagne!
We were made to feel very welcome at all times. Our room(s) (we were upgraded to a suite!) were very comfortable. The choice and standard of food at breakfast was very good and served promptly and in nice surroundings. All staff were polite and friendly. The location of the hotel was perfect - in between the Rialto and St Mark's Square and arriving/leaving by water taxi was so easy. Trips and advice from the staff were just right. A wonderful experience all round!
The remodelling of the old building to keep much of the original structure but to make the interior decor and rooms very contemporary and modern. The location and quitness of the area.
Beds and pillows are too firm and uncomfortable. 1 reception staff was too insistent on selling an expensive water taxi "tour" rather thanlistening to our questions and requests.
The location was extremely convienient within easy walking distance of all the main attractions of Venice. Staff were very helpful and on hand to provide advise on places to visit and directions. As I communicated to the hotel the time of booking that it was to be a special occasion, the hotel happily upgraded us to a suite which was a tastefully decorated, large room with a balcony and bedroom. I would reccommend staying here, it is fairly good value for money if staying in the deluxe double rooms, but even better value when upgraded!
The only one thing to mention here was that it took particularly long to open the door when we returned one night at around 11.
My family & I were extremely impressed with the Ruzzini Palace hotel. The staff were very professional & helpful. When we arrived at the hotel we were told that we had been upgraded to the Royal Suite. The room was amazing. We will definitely return to the Ruzzini Palace Hotel & plan to stay longer on our next trip. The hotel beat all of my expectations. It is a great place to stay that left my family with many fond memories.
